RE: Confessions and denials and ashes to ashes

He did cut it free and sent it back into the gulf. Hook was still in his mouth but the guy claimed that he bought cheap hooks that would dissolve in a couple of days.

you had a busy weekend. I'm hoping that shark means the gulf is healthy and species are thriving.

Thanks for the thorough beach report!  So funny that they have a Mardi Gras parade, that's great.  I don't know about the carpet stain leading upstairs, I didn't notice it last time.  Between that and the gold jewelry we keep finding, I hope it's not someone's Sugar Shack!!!! 😱😱

Ivy and I had a great weekend at the beach.

Up front, I want to mention a couple of things. I left a pen in a pocket and washed and dried a laundy load which left blue ink streaks in the washer drum. We tried to get the ink stains off but made little progress. We'll send James with a few other things to try.

But I want to take the blame for that.

Also, not casting blame here, but neither Ivy nor I are responsible for a minor trail of stains (coffee?) on the carpet leading up the stairs and into the upstairs bedroom.  They were there when we got there. I worked on them a little am not sure I made much progress. It's not a party until something gets broke. I only point it out so that James doesn't get blamed.

I caulked the framing off by the bayside upstairs door in hopes that will address the leaking in that corner bottom west corner. Otherwise, everything seemed to be in good condition.

I finally got in touch with Duaine. In the next couple of weeks, he is going to do a walk around of the house and look for loose or rotten siding and rusted-out hangers joining the deck to the house, for instance. If you know of things that need addressing let me know.

Pretty amazing weather weekend for February.

Got to watch that shark catch. and experienced the Fort Morgan Mardis Gras Parade.

The Spencer/Mayo sand fence installation is bearing fruit.

And, finally, I sprinkled a little bit of Dad's ashes on the dunes and in the Gulf and over at St. Andrews Bay.
