Thanks for the thorough beach report! So funny that they have a Mardi Gras parade, that's great. I don't know about the carpet stain leading upstairs, I didn't notice it last time. Between that and the gold jewelry we keep finding, I hope it's not someone's Sugar Shack!!!! 😱😱

Ivy and I had a great weekend at the beach.Up front, I want to mention a couple of things. I left a pen in a pocket and washed and dried a laundy load which left blue ink streaks in the washer drum. We tried to get the ink stains off but made little progress. We'll send James with a few other things to try.But I want to take the blame for that.
Also, not casting blame here, but neither Ivy nor I are responsible for a minor trail of stains (coffee?) on the carpet leading up the stairs and into the upstairs bedroom. They were there when we got there. I worked on them a little am not sure I made much progress. It's not a party until something gets broke. I only point it out so that James doesn't get blamed.
I caulked the framing off by the bayside upstairs door in hopes that will address the leaking in that corner bottom west corner. Otherwise, everything seemed to be in good condition.
I finally got in touch with Duaine. In the next couple of weeks, he is going to do a walk around of the house and look for loose or rotten siding and rusted-out hangers joining the deck to the house, for instance. If you know of things that need addressing let me know.
Pretty amazing weather weekend for February.
The Spencer/Mayo sand fence installation is bearing fruit.
And, finally, I sprinkled a little bit of Dad's ashes on the dunes and in the Gulf and over at St. Andrews Bay.
