Subject: Beach stuff
Hi Everyone,
We had a great time at the beach over New Year's and had a couple of tidbits to report. Rhonda had some sort of minor surgery and couldn't clean after Cliff and Leigh left or us, but they cleaned the house for us and we cleaned on our way out. We seemed low on all cleaning supplies except Windex so I bought some Scrubbing Bubbles and new scrub brushes and can send those down with the next beachgoers. I like to have supplies in each bathroom under the sinks.
One thing that is low but I haven't bought yet is shampoo/conditioner and possibly soap for each bathroom.
Cliff had me checking for leaks under the doors and there is only a very slight one on the upper bayside deck door. We got heavy rain the first night we were there. The lower bay side door sticks with opening, just reporting, we can watch that.
The pier is finished at the Fort and we enjoyed going a couple of times to fish and throw the net. Good people watching!!
Upstairs bathroom fan in Mom and Dad's old room was not working, and light is out in lower East bathroom, we did not get around to replacing that bulb in the fixture above the shower.
Ivy is concerned about the large long table upstairs coming apart, it has a long side slat that is failing/falling. Hopefully it won't fall on any map readers or puzzle solvers! I recall Dad cutting it in half to get it up there.😀
