Beach update Early Nov. 2022

Very few people there but weather was great. House was in great shape.
Monarchs fluttering about. Blue skies. Calm seas.

Peter and I tried fishing in the bay using artificial shrimp with a popper rig. We got no action. I threw the cast net and caught only tiny mullet and shrimp.
As always, beautiful.
Day two we walked up to Fort Morgan by way of the beach and around Alabama point. There were groups of fishermen catching big bull redfish. Using fingerling mullet in hooks.
We need to figure how to do that.

We had a cold front coming in. Maybe that had something to do with the Redfish biting.

Peter and I stopped off at Tacky Jacks. It was fine. Nice Jamaican waits staff.

We walk home and make it in time for Alabama v Ole Miss, which is an up and down frustration with a happy ending.

Sunday was cold and windy. A front came in and laid the gulf flat.
