Re: Claim Message from USAA

The additional information requested by USAA has been sent by my contractor.

I have not heard back from USAA in response.

We are now out of pocket a significant amount making repairs. And we are at a point where we need to pay the contractor an additional sum to continue the work.

I trust that the additional information has made it to all relevant parties. I need information as soon as possible in order to proceed.

I am adding Zach Bruckerhoff, estimator and claims representative, to this thread. If everyone would hit reply to all, all parties can stay informed about what needs to be submitted and what has been submitted.

This email is to Melissa Ann Sullivan, representing USAA and N&D Pro Construction

I would appreciate confirmation from both parties confirming receipt of this email. I would also like to be copied on any submission to USAA and any further communication between N&D and USAA and its represernatives.

N & D Pro Construction has been given the number for Claim Rep.: Zach Bruckerhoff, AFIS, HCI-R Business: (636) 357-7219 who is listed as the

Claim representative.

N & D Pro Construction has represented to me that photographic documentation of moisture readings have previously been shared with USAA.

Melissa from USAA stated today (and in the correspondence below) that the information provided thus far has been inadequate.

We need clear communication over what exactly was removed because of water infiltration and what will need to be replaced. The initial adjuster's report in no way captured the extent to which moisture had infiltrated the walls of the house and the flooring.

Between October and January, we have been waiting on an estimate to replace the carpeting that was removed. Both the contractor and the homeowner have sought and estimate, but the companies in the area are overwhelmed and are not complying. It was my understanding that the estimate was sent in with clarification that we had yet to receive a proper cost estimate for the replacement of the carpet.

In the morning of 1/11 I received an email that indicated the revised estimate "had been completed." I authorized N&D to order the materials needed to start the rebuild, including the insulation and the sheet rock.

A subsequent email was received after 5 p.m. on 1/11 that indicated the estimate had not been approved.

We need to work expeditiously to settle the outstanding matters.
