Weather was better than expected. Crowds light. Nice weekend.
The high tides during the super moon and due to Hurricane Idalia had brought the tides up to the foot of the dunes. Wind had blown down the sand fences.
We ate shrimp and cooked steak. One really nice sunset.
Ice maker, after some adjustment, made a bit of ice.
Ressurecte the sand fences.
We replaced the lights on the upper deck and installed wi-fi connected bulbs that are supposed to switch on and off on a schedule.
Put up hurricane shutters. That wasn't perfect. The re-installation that Duaine's workers didn't line things up just right. Not sure whether it matters.
Hopefully, it won't be needed.
