Pass along to Virginia and fishers that we had luck in the bay when the tide was coming in and it seemed that fish were flowing in with it.
If you look at the schedule of the tides, it's not very advantageous for you guys though.
I have had luck catching trout on an artificial shrimp trailing behind a surface float. By jerking the foot on the surface of the water, I think you are creating the impression that there is feeding in the area, drawing fish who then run into the moving shrimp.
Also, don't go into the bay with open sores. Vibrio is out there.
