I sent this to DeWayne and he has received it and acknowledged.
"After conferring with my siblings and looking at our budget, we want you to keep focus on finishing out the door and window job and the air conditioning platform repair. We're going to take our time and get the paint colors nailed down and the window treatments decided on before we proceed on those repairs. So, if you can
1. apply the ceiling white paint,
2. check on the locking mechanism on the upstairs Gulfside western door.
3 Get the hurricane shutters in a position to be functional.
4. Check the corners where the door frame meets the tile floor and see what filler belongs there.
5. Do what you can to clean the windows and glass.
6. Cliff's going to call and figure out about painting and the doors. You mentioned that a lot of people don't paint them. Door and window guys said they need to be painted."
Couple of other notes
- James sprayed the entrances for bugs. Whoever goes down there next will probably see more dead bugs than usual. We probably need to do a more complete spraying. I left the juice down there in the laundry room.
- The dryer is still up to its old tricks despite Archie's fix.
- So is the ice maker
- Baldwin County Solid Waste now has one of the one man trucks that picks up those trash bins. That means that were we used to keep the trash can is problematic. It needs to be on one side Ponce or the other. I put outs across from the Von's. I think that is why our can keeps getting grouped in with the Vons. Problem with that is whoever is in the Von house often fills up our can. We probably ought to order a new trash bin and get it clearly labeled. BTW: trash gets picked up once a week, on Mondays.

Subject: Cliff asked why I asked if anyone else is coming down ...
- Rhonda is out of town and won't be available until next week, but she is set up to come. There are still moving parts with the contractors and their timing. So whoever comes down here next cannot expect perfection.
- All of us for a while need to be on the look out for nails and glass shards. We've picked up a lot. The contractors have "swept" for them but we may continue to find.
- I went ahead and installed two $6 Jelly Jar lamps on the roadside porch. Turns out the turtle lights up and down on the beachside work. They just needed new bulbs. On the upper bay side, I could change the bulbs on the upstairs but the downstairs were rusted out. Thus the Jelly jars. Next crew down can check them out. They are minimalist, but very inexpensive and it was what Lowes has in quantity.
- I moved a bunch of boat stuff and plastic storage bins to the attic. The boat stuff that left the upstairs utility closet made room for the surfboards and some of that stuff. It's all a work in progress and I welcome being overruled, improved upon.
- I'm leaving the canoe down here. I have identified a few more patches that need to be made before she is completely seaworthy. I wouldn't recommend using until I do that.
- James and I went diving with Downunder Dive Shop to Posiden's Garden, which is just three miles off shore. It was a very nice trip. The visibility was not spectacular but it was good enough and it was really convenient. We are still thinking about what we should replace as far as the scuba gear goes. The pretty much everything has something wrong with it.
- We need oregano and surprisingly enough, duck tape.
