I talked to USAA about the threatening letter regarding flood insurance and our need for an elevation certificate for 3952a.
I have resolved the issue with USAA.
There was one done. And was likely filed with Baldwin County. But I don’t have a copy and USAA either didn’t get a copy or were asking the wrong permitting authority for the records.
They are keeping our policy in place at the previous rate.
If you ever do run across a copy of a survey or an elevation certificate, keep it and bring it to my attention.
It could be needed if FEMA ever audits USAA or in the event of sale.
